Sport in History Podcast 35 – Pandemic Special

It’s a pandemic special in this week’s podcast brought to you by the British Society of Sport History in association with the Institute of Historical Research with Raf joining Geoff to let BSSH members and the sport history community more widely know about the postponement of the BSSH Conference 2020, as well as arrangements for the Society’s AGM.

Raf also announces the keynote speaker for the 2020 conference, who will be Dr Prashant Kidambi of the University of Leicester, and his generous offer to record on online lecture follwed, we hope, by a live Q&A. We expect that this will form the headline event for a virtual conference and we’ll publicise more details of that in due course.

Contrary to what Geoff said during the discussion Allister Webb’s podcast will be a standalone episode so look out for that coming up very soon.
