Sport in History Podcast 41 – Helena Byrne and the British Library

In another short lockdown episode Helena Byrne drops in to talk about the British Library’s upcoming symposium on Olympic and Paralympic History which will take place on Friday 19th June from 3pm to 4.30pm.

There will be four speakers, including Helena herself, speaking about the way in which they have used archives to research Olympic and Paralympic history and heritage.

Helena also talks about her work with the Football Collective and you can access their event ’50 Years since Corinthian Nomads versus Dundalk Ladies’ at which Helena spoke here as well as an interview that Helena gave on Irish radio about the first women’s international between Ireland and England on the RTE website.
