Resto 48 Il Panzerotto, Rome
Il Panzerotto, for me at least, wasn’t the highlight of our stay in Rome. Maybe it was my fault for ordering melon and parma ham up front and then a ham pizza for main. There wasn’t any melon for my starter and this was substituted with focaccia. So essentially I had a ham sandwich for starter followed by a ham sandwich for main.
The room is decorated with Disney memorabilia and all kinds of other garba … trinkets, while the waiter was being a professional Italian in a very insincere way. Was the food any good? It was alright.
In Rome there is a severe shortage of toilet seats. Bars, restaurants, even some museums don’t have toilet seats in the gents. And Il P was no exception. But what they did have in the toilet was a Mickey Mouse peering down at you from the cistern.

Not something I’d like to see again.
