Resto 42 Ellis Gourmet Burger, Leuven

The wonk of the picture may give away the fact that on arrival in Leuven we’d had a tiring day. A quick lunch in Brussels at the always dependable Brasserie de la Gare felt a long way away when at last we sat down to eat at Ellis Gourmet Burger, our choice being made purely on the basis that we were next to it.

The interior being full on a Friday night we contented ourselves with the terrasse and perused the menu. You won’t be surprised to learn that it’s mostly burgers. Pretty high quality burgers it has to be said. But of the rest of the meal my recollection is obscured by the mists of time.
