Into the top ten of the worst dinners I've ever had. I wanted to be nice but I have to tell it like it is.

Good food al fresco at Percy&Founders, if a little soulless.

'Freshly made cocktails fizzy sour and poured over a colossal goblet full of ice. Already Le Fumoir had become one of my favourite places on earth.'

Good value Korean around the corner from the BM ... I also recommend their Sunken Cities exhibition.

The room was empty when we arrive but bursting at the seams when we left. Pennethorne's excellent food and service justifies its popularity.
