The food was good but at 30 quid a head we were paying too much for what was on affer.
At 25 quid a head this was as good value as you'll get in these parts for this quality.
The food was good and there was plenty of it, thus satisfying both of my requirements for the evening. Cheerful, prompt service dispelled the slightly condescending chaos of Koh Thai from the memory. Fah easily outclasses Koh in all areas of the game in this neck of the woods.
With a chef like this Koh deserves to be a success whatever shenanigans the front of house team were getting up to.
Several restaurants have bitten the dust in this location since I first moved to the area twenty odd years ago but I hope this one survives. It's good to have a bit of variety on Green Lanes in the shape of Boon Noon.
