A Door, A Gain

It’s a long time since I did a theatre post – not because I haven’t been doing any but rather because I’ve been doing a hell of a lot of guiding in the last year or so. Theatre-wise production and encouragement rather than writing and directing has been on the agenda.
So it was with delight that I learned that Denize wanted to direct A Door for the Crouch End Festival this year. A revival! Something of an honour! She’s assembled a wonderful team with sensational new talent as the Comte and Marquise while some shabster lurks in the background as Silent George the Barman.
Performances are in a new venue, the Nicholas Nickleby, an ace pub serving their own range of Czech-style lagers (and boy do you need a lager right now!). 1.15pm on Sat 13th and Sun 14th June. Tickets as usual from the Playaz.
